Yasser has been involved in dispute resolution and legal advice since 2011. After qualifying as a barrister in England and Wales, he was admitted to practice in Mauritius. He has advised and appeared in a range of matters in the areas of civil, tax, employment, corporate and commercial, construction, and public law before various tribunals and courts, including the Privy Council. He is currently bridging his qualifications for admission to practice in Australia.

Before turning to the legal profession, Yasser completed a BSc(Hons) in Actuarial Science (Applied Mathematics), managed construction projects and worked in a Big Four financial services firm in London. He brings with him experience and knowledge to help with technically complicated and complex situations. If that wasn’t enough, he is also multi-lingual with professional fluency in French!

Yasser is client-centric, thorough in his research and pragmatic in his advice. His focus is in litigation and alternative dispute resolution and he works within the Construction and Disputes Team under Director, Sharné Lategan.
